Large Art Deco walnut wardrobe 1930s

A large and impressive Art Deco wardrobe from the 1930s finished in straight-grained and burr English walnut

with mahogany interior and side panels. Distinctive marquetry fan design across the front ending in a scalloped edge along the top. Sits on a base plinth with cabriole legs. Chrome-plated brass drop door handles with engraved detail. Heavy and high-quality construction with particularly fine decorative veneers applied to a solid wood casing. Full-length double-door hanging space on the left-hand side with two pull-out hanging rails, shoe rail, shelf, and mirror. Behind the right-hand door there are two deep box drawers with campaign handles, three shallow drawers, shelves, and a metal hanging rail inside the door.

The wardrobe separates into two main sections (2:1) plus the base to facilitate transport and manoeuvrabilty.

Good overall condition; some small cosmetic repairs to the central door.
